Why does our ASW-SS differ from the conventional?
Your normal seed boot injects the seed under the sweep in a forward
direction which adds to the bounce of the seed. The reverse
drop nullifies the forward speed of the seed for better placement of
seed on the shear plain of the sweep. The seed enters the
shoot where it is gently rotated into the soil. This creates a
"dead drop" for the seed. The plastic covering wing
trails behind for a light holding action of the seed. This
ensures excellent seed to soil contact. In planting soybeans
this creates a "buddy system" for better emergence.
With the Till Drill System it tremendously reduces crusting
problems. Adaptors may be purchased for different shanks. |
