History - Lytleware

LYTLEWARE
All LytleWare is designed by Beth Ware Lytle, a professional ballerina for 16 years.  She is very in tune with what a dancer's - your customers needs are in knit dance wear.  LytleWare is completely manufactured in the United States and comes unconditionally guaranteed.

Our garments are produced using a yarn which is 85% acrylic, 15% nylon which in itself is unique in the dance world.  Typically, knit wear companies use yarn which is 100% acrylic and sometimes not very strong or durable.  LytleWare garments, with their 15% nylon context, are extremely strong and durable.  They are machine washable, color fast, and nearly 100% "pill proof" ("pills" are the little fuzz balls that so often occur on knits after they have been washed once or twice.)

In addition, the yarn we use is processed using a "ring spun" method which results in a tightly spun yarn with the strength and durability indicated above yet having a soft, smooth, and flat finish.  In fact, there are high quality, name brand clothing manufacturers in the U.S. using the same yarn we use to produce sweaters and skirts that sell for $150 to $200!

However, yarn is only one component of a quality knit product.  Another is the actual knitting processes which are used.  Many companies save money by using a knitting process called "single end knitting."  This means that they are only using one end (string) of yarn in each knitting stitch to produce their garments.

Snags are a fact of life in the knit industry.  When garments knit with weaker acrylic yarn and the single end knitting process snag, the likelihood is that the single thread of yarn will break and a hole will develop.

On the other hand, Lytle ware garments are manufactured using a knitting process know as "double end knitting."  This means that instead of using only one end (string) of yarn in each knitting stitch, we use two ends (strings) for double snag protection.  The result is, that LytleWare garments, combining our strong 85/15 yarn and the "double end" knitting process, are much less likely to develop holes when they snag because we are using superior yarn and twice as much!

Finally, we pride ourselves on giving our customers excellent service.  It doesn't mean anything to produce the world's finest product if you can't provide your customers with quick, efficient service and delivery.  Let me ask you, have you ever had delivery problems from your current knit wear providers?  Have you ever had to wait 3,4, or 5 weeks (or months) to receive your orders?

LytleWare believes that the service you receive is every bit as important as the products you receive.  To that end, we maintain inventory of 100% of our product line.  The result being, that in most cases, your order will be shipped within two business days of its receipt!

We hope you can see that we put a lot of quality and pride into every garment we produce.  It is our sincere belief that the customers -- your customers -- should receive first rate products at reasonable prices with excellent service.  We firmly believe that LytleWare can be a profitable addition to your current product line, and hope that you will chose to give our products a try.  If we hear from you before noon (CST) today, we'll ship you a trial order today!
