THE NEXT BIG GROWTH MARKETS According to the December, 1998 issue of Builder magazine, the city of Sioux Falls, South Dakota is ranked 9th in its "The Next Big Growth Markets" article. City planners have marketed an updated image for the city, which includes a promise to relocating companies that Sioux Falls can get them open for business faster than any city in the nation.

Sioux Falls has averaged a 3-plus percent population grown each year since 1990. The city encourages growth through economic development and there is plenty of land available.
