FARMER'S MARKETS!
GREAT INDOOR SHOPPING!

Tom and Ruth will serve you when you come to shop in the SD Goosemobile.  It has eight freezers stocked
with their free-range, certified organic grass-fed meats; also Hi-Omega 3 eggs, and Dakota Down Products.

South Dakota Goose Mobile:

All products are raised by South Dakota Family Farmers who practice natural husbandry - no growth hormones, antibiotics, or GMO feeds but plenty of exercise in open spaces and are grass-fed.

Exercise and high fiber diet equals low fat meat animals.  For example, the SDSU Nutrition Lab tells us that GOOSEMOBILE Chickens have only 12% fat compared to a 20% supermarket model.

2008 25th Annual GOOSEMOBILE Schedule:

Last year we tried a new system of connecting with customers due to the increased price of diesel.  Being the price is even higher this year and the system worked well last year, we will repeat.  The GOOSEMOBILE will travel only around Southeastern South Dakota.  We will deliver orders with a van over the rest of South Dakota to homes, businesses, work or compatible sites.

GOOSEMOBILE MEATS ARE GRASS FED IN CERTIFIED ORGANIC PASTURES!
The Goosemobile markets natural low fat meats raised on grasses that are Certified Organic and free of hazardous chemicals.  The animals range freely with a choice of diet originally intended for them to eat such as grass, bugs, grubs, grit, etc.  Their feed is not genetically modified or laced with antibiotics and growth hormones.  Research indicates that the natural "original diet" produces foods with more omega-3s & CLA (good fat), Vitamins E & A and beta carotene.  Therefore, we strive to grass feed our animals as much as possible, focusing on animal welfare, the environment and the economic well being of our soil.  Nutritional benefits from grass fed animals are significant.  Meat and eggs from grass fed animals are lower in fat and calories but higher in good fats such as Omega-3 fatty acids and "conjugates linoleic acid" (CLA).
"An egg from a free-range hen (grass fed) can have up to ten times more of this good fat than eggs from caged hens."  Each day that an animal spends in confinement or a feed lot, its supply of Omega-3s (good fat) is diminished.  For further information of this, read "Why Grass Fed Is Best".  By Jo Robinson.
